SUMMARY DESCRIPTION
The purpose of this course is to provide the student with information on new hybrid and electric vehicles. The information provided in this course will help a rescuer mitigate hazards at the accident scene while working with new vehicle design and construction. This course covers Hybrids, Airbags, Vehicle Construction and Materials, Highway Safety, and vehicle fire procedures for E-85 and other alternative fuel vehicles. Advanced extrication techniques will be discussed and demonstrated (when available).
GOALS:
The goal of this Signet North America Hybrid Vehicle Extrication experience is to provide an interactive, high energy, informative and relevant education designed to take the attendee through a wide range of subject matter to include, but not be limited to:

PREREQUISITES:
Knowledge of basic extrication tactics and an understanding of hydraulic recue tools are required.
