SUMMARY DESCRIPTION
The First Responder is a primary link in the successful management of emergency medical incidents. In this unique eight (8) hour program students will learn how they can make a significant difference in the outcome of injured or sick co-workers. All class curriculum will be based on current National Registry guidelines for the First Responder as it pertains to the industrial environment. Topics will include scene safety, patient assessment, airway management, CPR, shock management, documentation, and common illness and injury management. This program is designed for employee based response team members and can be tailored to meet your specific needs pertaining to basic first aid in the industrial environment.
GOALS:
The goal of this Signet North America First Aid for the First Responder course is to provide a high-energy, interactive and informative educational experience designed to take the attendee through a wide range of subject matter to include, but not be limited to:
