SUMMARY DESCRIPTION
The Emergency Response Plan (ERP) and Canadian Emergency Response Assistance Plan (ERAP) are valuable tools which no company should go without. These are the foundation on which responses to various events inclusive of threats, risks, and vulnerabilities are carried out. A plan which does not consider risks or vulnerabilities is flawed and will have disastrous results.
The elements of your plan will be addressed either through initial development, comprehensive plan review, or exercise and testing of your current plan with the goal of evaluating and improving the current plan and/or revising those procedures already in place
GOALS:
Development and review will take into account many common elements which shall be considered in any plan. In addition, there are many unique considerations that must be evaluated and incorporated. Some of the common plan elements that will be considered are:
- Functional roles and responsibilities of internal and external agencies, organizations, departments, and positions
- Lines of authority
- Logistical support
- Process for managing an incident
- Communication and information flow, internally and externallyStrategic plans
- Specific actions or procedures to be carried out
- Prevention, preparedness, response, mitigation, and recovery actions
Signet North America can address your plan development, review, and testing. Exercise, evaluation, and personnel training are just a few of the comprehensive emergency management services offered.
